Going out to have some beer - anyone interested?

Well, this is kind of a pole to see about if anyone would be interested in joining me on going out this coming Sunday (5/16/10) to a brew pub or pubs. The reason why is that my wife and daughter will be out of town and will have just spent the entire week taking my 2nd exam for my brew masters class. So by Sunday, I simply would like to go out and enjoy myself and celebrate the completion of another exam. If any one wants to tag along, please let me know. My truck is big enough to fit a couple bodies.

One place in mind is Beachwood BBQ or really where ever good beer is sold. Heck I don't mind even going to Stone since our AHA discount is fairly reasonable there or the awesome Pizza Port in Carlsbad.

I work Sunday but would love to take a pilgrimage to Stone some day. Maybe the club could do a field trip or something in the future.

Mark - thanks man. Good luck on your brew day, so where did the inspiration come from for a cream wee (just sounds funny saying it like that).

Chris - I like your idea, once I finish my finals, which is in a month, I see about putting something together. Looks like, do I dare to say, I'll be going to Stone with my grandparents! Yeah, they love this place, go figure. They actually call me when they go down there for lunch occasionally. I think they do it because they can or they just want to show me what it's like being retired - too funny. Yes my grandparents are a different breed.

Well it's 3:41am right now and I'm working on my exam STILL. Oh how I can't wait for these days to end.....

Inspiration? I was drinking a wee and my neighbor was drinking a cream ale and we weren't watching what we were doing and we crashed into each other. I then look at him and said "Hey! You got your cream ale in my wee!" and he said "Hey you got your wee in my cream ale!" and then we each tried and it decided that maybe I should make a cream ale wee combination and call it a cream of wee ale! So there you have it. History in the making.

Nice story Mark, sounds like a solid concept. Can't wait to try your creation out. How did things turn out for yeah this weekend? I on the other hand did finish my exam and submitted it 10am on Saturday. Feeling on top of the world for finishing that test, I came home and celebrated with cleaning brewery equipment for 5 hours. Seriously, I was the happiest man that day! Ready for my next couple batches.
